New guy from Oregon

Just joined the site. I've been officiating youth baseball since 1999. Started out in LL like a lot of umps and have moved up to HS with the occasional adult game thrown in. Nothing like having the best seat in the house on a sunny summer day...wait this is the Pacific Northwest....nevermind!
"I always thought the knuckleball was the easiest pitch to catch. Wait'll it stops rolling, then go to the backstop and pick it up."

I'm in Michigan and have never gone more west than Chicago or south than DC, and those were both class field trips.
