Just wanting to introduce myself to the group. My name is Jeff, I'm 49 years old, and I'm from St. Clair Shores, Michigan (Northeast suburb of Detroit). I've been umpiring for 8 years, collectively. I started in high school then stopped and recently picked it back up 3 years ago. I primarily work high school and Federation (12U - 18U) games with a few MABL (Men's Adult Baseball League) games sprinkled in. I haven't umpired yet this season due to hip replacement surgery in early April but I've been choming at the bit big time!! I have my first game on Thursday, so, I'm hoping it goes well.
Anyway, I look forward to becoming an active participant out here on Umpire-Empire!
