Both Rules and Field Training are included and the materials offered are outstanding. Each student will receive sample video taped plate instruction. Includes dormitory style housing, taining materials and all meals.

Little League Baseball and Softball Sanctioned EventLittle League® Baseball and Softball is the world’s largest and most respected youth sports organization. With players in every U.S. state and more than 75 other countries, the program is led by more than one million adult volunteers. It serves children ages 4 through 18, including physically and mentally disabled children (Challenger Division) and children in urban areas (Little League Urban Initiative). Eight divisions of Little League culminate in a World Series International Tournament. All Little League Baseball World Series games are televised on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3.com or ESPN on ABC. Adult Umpire Schools
Western Region Headquarters
There are two one-week sessions available. Little League Rules and Field Mechanics
Training are included, and the materials presented are outstanding.
This clinic is open to all Little League Umpires regardless of experience. The clinic is
designed for the volunteer umpire. The instruction is very professional, and students will
receive more then 100 pieces of information to help them with their umpire career. This
clinic will provide the experience and knowledge for the league umpire official to return
to their home league and provide sufficient training and information for their local staff.
Each student is encouraged to bring a two-inch three-ring binder and writing instrument.
Each day will consist of classroom and field exercises. The sessions will begin around 8
a.m. and conclude around 9 p.m. Each student will receive ample videotaped plate
instruction throughout the week.
This is a seven-day clinic, with registration beginning on Saturday at 2 p.m., and
concluding with graduation on Friday at 4 p.m. Meals and dormitory style housing will be
provided at the Western Region Headquarters complex.
Clinic registration begins October 1

early, as space is limited. All training sessions are limited to adults 18 years of age or
